Boa Vista
The annual average index of relative humidity of air is of 87,2%. The pluviomtrico Index has the average of 160 mm/ms, the rainiest months January, less rainy February and March and June, July and August. It has in the region the orographic rain occurrence in virtue of the existence of a natural barrier (the Mountain range of the Sea). In the city the relief with two main structures can be characterized: the coastal plain that if extends for west, until being intercepted by the Mountain range of the Sea. Great part of the city is on the coastal plain is characterizes for a plain relief, contends isolated mounts with the 225 altitudes varying of 40 m as, as for example, the mounts of the Boa Vista and Iriri, situated in the city of Joinville. This plain possesss a sufficiently old rocky substratum, with approximately 2,7 billion years, composition for metamrficas rocks of the types: quartzitos and gnaisses, that they arise in the mounts, while in the plain sediments of sea and continental origin occur deposited in last the 10 a thousand years. (GONALVES, 2004) the rivers of the coastal plain possess sinuosas forms, with low speed of its waters, many times influenced for the action of tide chains, therefore its mouths of a river meet in the Bay one of the Babitonga and the ground is many times made marshy, with great amount of organic substance, known as turf. The vegetal covering of this region is characterized by the Atlantic Forest, together with its ecosystems associates as the Manguezal and the Restinga, where most of the time it is characterized by Secondary Vegetation in diverse periods of training of recovery. Originally, the area was covered for a Primary Forest that, after its partial falling of trees, occurred a regeneration process, where in the first period of training of development, occurs the appearance of grass and small shrubs (capoeirinha).
