This monograph aims at to the construction of Didactic Material of History for 6 year of Basic Ensino: Book of Professor, pointing out Itaituba as Cultural Polar region of great partner-economic importance for the region of the Tapajs, for the Legal Amaznia and Brazil. On the basis of official registers of the Public Agencies, articles of academics of the region for the Nucleus of the Federal University of the State of Par (UFPA) and some carried through monographic works in the College of Itaituba (FAI), not yet published, it was felt necessity to use to advantage the regional studies approved by Board of After-Graduation in the concern to elaborate material adequate didactic to the regional peculiarities to serve of subsidy to the professors and pupils of 6 year of Basic Ensino of the municipal schools on the history of Brazil.
